It’s 5 o’clock, which means it’s time for some tea — an experience which can be improved even further by putting Anna Netrebko’s rendition of Verdi’s Aida in the background for some extra enjoyment. Commissioned to Verdi by Egyptian ruler Isma’il Pasha in commemoration of the Cairo Opera House opening back in 1871, the famous opera was what inspired the singer to create her own limited Imperial Porcelain collection — a unique collaboration which we were really excited to promote.
